Chairman and company CEO
Chuanwei Zhang founded the company in June 2006 and has served as the Chairman and the Executive Officer since then. He was the founder and general manager of Ming Yang Electrical Appliances in 1993. He founded Ming Yang Electric in 1995 and served as its general manager until 2007. He has served as a director at Guodian Zhongshan Natural Gas Power Generation Co., Ltd., a natural gas power producer, since August 2005. He is currently the Executive Chairman of Zhongshan Chamber of Industry & Commerce, Chairman of Guangdong Electric Industry Association and Vice Director of Zhongshan Foreign Affair Association. He is the representative of 12th National People’s Congress, and was selected as CCTV’s Annual Economic Figure of 2010. He has a bachelor’s degree from News College of Chongqing City and an MBA from a joint program by Hong Kong Baptist University and Sun Yat-sen University.

Mr. Zhongmin Shen has abundant experience in management and investment both in independent power and clean energy sectors. Prior to joining us, he served as a managing director of Olympus Capital's Asia Environment Partners ("Olympus"). Before Olympus, he was a partner of Hudson Clean Energy Partners ("Hudson"), a global private equity fund focusing on clean energy and technologies. Prior to joining Hudson, Mr. Shen was the chief executive officer of Huaneng Invesco WLR Investment Consulting Company Limited ("Huaneng Invesco WLR"), a joint venture between Huaneng Capital Services and Invesco WLR. Before he joined Huaneng Invesco WLR, he was a managing director of CLP Holdings Limited ("CLP"). Before CLP, he was an executive director and chief operating officer of China Resources Power Holdings Company Limited. Mr. Shen obtained a master of business administration degree from Guanghua School of Management of Peking University. He also obtained a master's degree in arts majoring in economics from The University of Tennessee, a master of laws degree from Peking University and a bachelor's degree in science from Peking University.
Jianren Wen was appointed to board as president on April 2015. He has over 20-year experience in electricity and electrical equipment industry and is familiar with Ming Yang's operation and management. Joined Ming Yang Electric in 1995, he served as a senior engineer and vice president and was appointed as the President of Mingyang Electric from 2007 to 2015. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Harbin Shipbuilding Engineering Institute, now Harbin Engineering University, in Mechatronics.

Senior vice president
Mr. Jinfa Wang was the Senior Vice President of Ming Yang since 2006 to 2014. He has over 20 years of management experience in the electrical machinery equipment industry. He joined Ming Yang in 2000 and had been the deputy general manager to 2006.
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Cheng Jiawan has more than 19 years of experience in the heavy machinery manufacturing industry. He is also one of the 10 members of the high-power wind turbine development team within the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology.
Chief Financial Officer
Ng Kwok Yin, Ricky has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer since November 2014. Mr. Ng has extensive working experience in finance and audit. Before joining the company, he served as a vice president of Xing Shi Hui Company Limited from 2013 to 2014 and was responsible for investment and leasing business of investment properties. Prior to joining XSH, he served as the senior audit manager of KPMG, participating in various corporate auditing and initial public offering projects from 1999 to 2012. Mr. Ng received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is also a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Qiying Zhang was appointed as our chief technology officer since June 2014. Mr. Zhang has extensive working experience in wind turbine design and development. Joined the company in Feb 2014, he was the vice president of engineering and research and development to May 2014. Prior to joining the company, he served as the Chief Technology Director of Guodian United Power Technology Co., Ltd. Mr. Zhang was a project manager and the technology assistant to the president of aerodyne Enegiesysteme GmbH Shanghai Representative from 2006 to 2011. Mr. Zhang received a bachelor’s degree in automotive engineering and a master’s degree in automotive engineering from Tongji University. Mr. Zhang is currently studying for his doctor’s degree in structure dynamics in Tongji University.
